MY REVIEW

This is the second book in the Misadventures Series and so far have been truly standalone books. I’ve read a few of Ms Ryan’s books, and I’ve enjoyed each.

Piper is new to the city, but hasn’t really gotten out of her apartment. I absolutely loved the opening line “My Netfilx account was judging me.” I know I’ve thought the same thing binge watching. But Piper’s sister isn’t going to let her keep it up. After creating a profile on a dating site, Hailey sets Piper up on a date. Enter Jackson, the incredibly hot one night stand. Fast forward a bit to the first day of her new job, Jackson is her new boss. Loved these two from the beginning. Piper is an organized sweetheart. Jackson is a dreamy alpha, but totally upfront he’s not after a relationship. As you can possibly imagine, trying to be just coworkers after their one night poses a challenge. The dynamics between Piper and Jackson are steamy and very entertaining.
